Quality Policy

Australian Food Group is a Meat Processing Business dedicated to applying its professional expertise and resources to the humane production of premium quality fresh meat and meat products for the Australian market. We have operated for over 40 years with the production and distribution of fresh meat and meat products, superior in quality to our competitors, a policy of which we are proud.

Quality is our first priority from the grower through processing to distribution of our product. Our company continually strives to improve the quality of the product, our operation and the service to customers. We do this in the understanding that our customers demand it and the viability of the company depends on it.

This quality is achieved by the application and maintenance of a Quality Management System based on the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 (excluding Design Control).

The Owner, management and staff of Australian Food Group are committed to continuously improving planning, development and maintenance of the quality system in line with our vision and mission statements. In addition we are committed to continually improving the welfare of our livestock from birth to slaughter.

The continual assessment of procedures for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness, and control of food safety through the use of HACCP ensures the quality of products and service to meet the increasing quality specifications of our customers and to comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements.

We recognise that providing quality products and service requires a clear commitment by management and an appreciation by all staff that they have a role to play in the delivery of quality. The management and staff are committed to undertaking education and training programs that ensure we are fully conversant with the principles of quality assurance, quality management and the quality objectives of our company.
